1. A Convertible Legacy 

The first MINI Convertible was released in 1993, making 2025 its 32nd anniversary. As the UK’s most popular convertible, many don’t realise its history goes even further. In 1963, Crayford Engineering in Westerham, England, built custom roofless versions of the MINI. This proves that open-air driving has always been part of MINI’s DNA. 

2. Say Hello to "Spike"

The latest MINI Convertible features the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant. Simply say “Hey MINI” to get route updates, adjust the temperature, or control in-car functions - hands-free. 

Stepping into the New MINI Cooper Convertible, you’ll also get to meet "Spike," a digital avatar on the 240mm infotainment screen. Inspired by an English Bulldog, Spike guides you through the MINI’s operating system. 

3. High-Tech LED Lighting

The new MINI Convertible’s LED headlights are as purposeful as they are aesthetic. With improved visibility and three unique light "signatures" to choose from, you're equipped to travel safely and in style.   

At the rear, the LED taillights feature a modern design with three customisable daytime running light patterns. You can match them to your style. 

 

4. Hidden Safety for Extra Protection 

Safety is a priority in the MINI Convertible. A hidden rollover protection system deploys instantly in an accident. It shields passengers when they need it most. It’s a feature you might never see - but it’s always there for peace of mind. 

5. Three Unique Styles 

The new MINI Cooper Convertible comes in three trims: Classic, Exclusive, and Sport. Each trim has a unique look, from dashboard details to seat upholstery.

The MINI Convertible blends style and function. With the 50/50 split rear seats folded down, cargo

The MINI Convertible’s interior is more than stylish — it’s an experience. You get the choice between seven ambient lighting themes, each with unique colours, displays, as well as driver settings. To enhance the mood further, each mode includes custom soundscapes, jingles, and alert signals.
